The Mysterious Bradshaw Ranch – Pt1, Sedona, AZ

The Bradshaw Ranch has a colorful history, from movie set to real-life stage of what many have termed “ultra-paranormal” or “high strangeness”.

In the mid-1990’s, the United States Government gained control over the 90-acre ranch outside Sedona, Arizona. Since then, it has been under control of the United States Forest Service and is protected as an “Archeological” site.

On a recent visit to the Bradshaw Ranch, we decided to walk the perimeter fence to see if we could get some good photos.

The sense we got from this place was surreal. It was as though years of hustle and bustle suddenly stopped, like the people living there were suddenly and mysteriously removed from the property. You could almost see a coffee pot still on the stove and or a kettle of 3-bean chili cooking on the burner. The sense was that life on the ranch had suddenly stopped. The grounds look surprisingly kept and while we were there, there wasn’t a sound to be heard. It was strangely quiet.

The stories of events that took place here are simply incredible. Aside from the given “lights in the sky” there are accounts of extreme strangeness. Such as,

  • Horses being spooked during the night and come morning, large footprints having three toes were found in the sand nearby.
  • Late at night, while everyone was asleep, someone took the camera and snapped photos of the home’s interior. When they were developed, they realized that these unexplained photos were taken from about 3-4 feet off the floor.
  • There are also reports of seeing portals into what can only be explained as another world. Objects were seen inside this window or portal, such as telephone poles, but were not there in the yard at the time.
  • One evening a metalic disk descended nearby and they quietly watched four small aliens walking by the window of the house.
  • Several photos were taken at night where someone or something was sensed to be nearby. When the film was developed, partial bodies of what seemed to be human-like, appeared on the film. Sometimes very close to someone.
  • A family friend brought his video recorder over and when walking outside, nothing was seen with their eyes. However, using the viewfinder on the recorder, he saw domestic pigs – not the wild ones calling Sedona home. Quickly returning to the house, they popped the VHS tape in and everyone saw the pigs moving about.

When discussing possible military or joint ET/military operations in the nearby canyons, there are again many strange stories that cannot be easily dismissed. Secret Mountain to the north and Secret Canyon to the north-east are areas where many hikers have encountered uniformed men with guns as well as sightings of white vehicles with U.N. stamped on the sides. Hikers have been warned to turn around and never return and threats of being killed or put in a “compound like the others”. Accounts of tall men in black uniforms with guns and masks are also consistent.

In late 1997, there was a supposed investigation into the death of 3 women in the canyons who were beheaded. A resident of Utah, who was visiting Sedona at the time, learned of this story by a friend who was one of the investigators a few days after it happened. Evidently, the local press and media suppressed the story.

Another account also detailed a hiker observing a group of men standing near white buses bearing U.N. on the sides. They were wearing white coats and unloading what appeared to be a wingless aircraft. Hearing something behind him, he quickly turned to see a being that would be described as a short gray extraterrestrial. After he spotted him peering out from behind a tree, he disappeared.

Robert Bradshaw also reported that due to underground tunneling between nearby mountains, the home’s plumbing pipes shook violently.

To get to the Bradshaw Ranch from Sedona, take highway 89a towards Cottonwood. Turn right onto Dry Creek Road and follow signs to Honanki Ruins. You will change roads a couple times and the pavement will end so a high ground clearance vehicle is recommended. Especially when driving down the back side of Bradshaw Hill. When you see the sign for Bradshaw Rd, veer to the left for the short climb up Bradshaw Hill. There is a nice lookout area at the top for photos before descending down the back side to the ranch.
